Pharmacy Technician - Clinical Pharmacy Services (Job Overview)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM) | Hybrid 2 Days Onsite (LMC) and 3 Days remote

Key Responsibilities
- Drive support for clinical initiatives under Value-Based Care Contracts to achieve high ratings in health outcomes and medication adherence measures.
- Participate in Clinical Pharmacy Specialists-driven quality improvement projects, such as Medication Utilization Evaluations and data collection for clinical initiatives and projects.
- Conduct innovative patient outreach to schedule patients with the CPS.
- Act as a liaison between the patient, the CPS, and Legacy Pharmacy.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications through prescription processing assistance.
- Conduct pre-clinic assessments for Annual Wellness Visits with a focus on tech-driven solutions.
- Manage and triage phone calls, ensuring seamless insurance adjudication and prior authorizations processing.
- Facilitate communication with referring physician offices or insurance companies.
- Engage in the training of new employees and Clinical Pharmacy AmeriCorp Members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Notify Pharmacist, Manager, Pharmacy of any unresolved issues, pushing for agile problem-solving methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certificate and registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- Maintain required certifications and credentials, including American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of three (3) years prior experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Exhibit strong project management skills and a comprehensive understanding of 340b regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks independently using agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Windows, Excel, and Accounting software.
- Experience working within Pioneer and EPIC electronic health records, leveraging technology to enhance healthcare delivery.
- Bilingual abilities are preferred, enhancing communication in a diverse community.
